Our story is our family’s story, a dream that began to take shape in 2005, 

when we began work on renovating this farmhouse, now home to Mezzo Baiocco. An unusual name for a restaurant, 

but rooted in a distant past that we have learned to love and respect.

People lived in this house before us, and we remember them through its name.

During the renovation, we found a coin beneath the roof tiles.

It was a Mezzo Baiocco, a coin from the Papal States dating back to 1849.

We framed it in the entrance wall because it reminds us of the ancient roots of our story.

It’s up to us to write the next chapter, and we’ve been doing so with all our dedication since July 21, 2006, together, thanks to you.

Ours is a story that is both young and old.

It’s the story of our family and our team, with all of you by our side. 

Thank you, because a restaurant lives through the people it welcomes.

Because we’re writing this beautiful story together.
